This project is the culmination of approximately 150 hours of design and prototyping. I developed this 3D printed RC outboard motor to power my F1 powerboat project. The outboard is powered by a 3600KV brushless motor that is capable of turning the propeller at a staggering 26,000 revolutions per minute. I am currently working on version 2 which will not only be more reliable but lighter as well. Below you will see some renderings as well as a video of the outboard’s first test!
